Physiotherapy Services

In accordance with Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, Roaming Rehab must obtain permission for treatment from your veterinarian before any treatment can commence. 

​

Each session can be done in the comfort of your own home/at your yard in order to make your pet feel as relaxed as possible. Roaming Rehab do provide in-clinic days at a number of practices, please see our contact us page for more information on clinics.

Initial Session

Each animal seen must have an initial assessment in order to then build up a rehabilitation plan going forward.

Maintenance Session

Maintenance sessions are for when your animal has reached a point in thier rehabilitation plan where we are maintaining thier current levels. 

​

Roaming Rehab will be able to give you more information as to whether your animal can be classed as a maintenance level appointment.

Equine - 30mins

 Intro to Handling Sessions

Does your dog suffer from anxiety or gets stressed in clinical settings?

​

Do you have a puppy that you would like to get used to treatment and handling in a non-clinical environment?

​

These sessions allow animals to grow confidence in their own home with physiotherapy-led handling sessions. 

​

Canine only- 30mins

Sports and Performance 

Roaming Rehab run strength and conditioning sessions for working and performance dogs.

​

These sessions are for dogs with no current conditions (permission and confirmation from your veterinarian will be required).

​

These sessions are for creating tailored exercise plans in order to get your dog moving optimally for their discipline. 

​

No manual or electrotherapy treatment.

​

Multi-Patient Session

Do you have more than one dog/horse that you would like treated? 

​

If you have more than one animal being treated at one time, either yourselves or in a group with other (yard or group/club), Roaming Rehab can offer a multi-patient discount. 

​

Other Services

House and Pet Sitting

Roaming Rehab can also offer house/pet sitting. Generally this is for animals that struggle to be left alone or may have specific needs but all animals will be considered!

​

This service is offered within the UK and internationally (travel costs would need to be discussed).
